Loan Officer
DESCRIPTION
Lend Some Money (LSM) is looking for a Loan Officer to join our rapidly-growing team and provide an industry-leading experience for our clients. As a Loan Officer, you will evaluate asset-based loan applications for property investors, and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to help qualified applicants achieve their funding needs quickly and easily.
Using our state-of-the-art loan origination software, you will lead applicants through the lending process and proactively respond to inquiries about LSM’s loan products. You will identify and pursue leads, build relationships, prequalify applications, screen reports such as credit, background, appraisals, and title, and work diligently to ensure loans advance fluidly.
This high-impact position requires you to be an expert on our products and services. An experienced Loan Officer is preferred, but we are willing to train the right applicant. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS
✓ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
✓ Affinity for warm/cold calling and qualifying leads by phone
✓ High level of detail orientation
✓ Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment
✓ Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
✓ Proficiency with Google and MS Office Apps
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
✓ At least 1 year of experience in a professional phone-based, sales-oriented role
EDUCATION
✓ Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred

COMPENSATION
✓ Commission-based compensation with ability to earn $200k+
